In possibly the most spectacular miscalculation I have ever seen, Boris Berezovsky protested the imprisonment of fellow super-rich oligarch Mikhail Khodorkovsky by driving 100 silver Mercedes limousines up to the Russian Consulate in London.
Berezovsky’s rally today was to be a “signal to foreigners who are getting ready today to participate in the redistribution of someone else’s property,” Ekho Moskvy quoted.
Is Berezovsky so far out of touch with reality that he thinks this ostentatious display of his wealth is likely to win him support among the Russian public? Sometimes you really have to wonder how these fools ever got rich in the first place.
