Do any of you wise American election-watchers out there know whether Kerry has been able to articluate any kind of serious position on US-Russian relations? All I’ve found so far are some ramblings about nuclear non-proliferation and how America, Russia, France and Germany should all work together to save the world… sorry, to save Iraq.

Well, on his website, there’s not much beyond that. He does appear to be gung-ho about dismantling Russian nukes: “if we are to make America safer, and we must, it will take more than cosmetic treaties that leave Russia’s nuclear arsenal in place.”
The rest of his mentions of Russia talk about securing their arsenal.

Kerry does not have much of an articulated position on anything. In the rare instances that he has articulated something, he tends to shift his position into something else.
