I’ve finally invested the cold hard cash required to give SiberianLight a shiny new web address.
Hopefully this move will be the start of big things for SiberianLight. I’m currently in the early stages of moving over to Movable Type (although WordPress is still under consideration - anyone have any views on their merits?). In line with the move I plan to do some redesigning of the site, so don’t be too surprised if you log-in one morning to find a brand new SiberianLight beaming out at you from your monitor.
I’m also considering making SiberianLight a group blog. I know there are a lot of folks out there who have a bee in their bonnet about Russia, so if you have something to say and are interested in coming on board, please drop me a line.
* To be pedantically accurate, SiberianLight still lives in exactly the same place. Only a new road has been built to make it easier to reach. The site can still be accessed from http://siberianlight.typepad.com if you feel the need.

I like Wordpress quite a bit. It ain’t as pretty as MoveableType, but it is free, something you might want to keep in mind if you get multiple authors.
If you haven’t selected a hosting service, I recommend Hosting Matters, they’ve been stellar.
Have I ever sent you your login information for my site? Let me know. You could mess around in Wordpress to see how you like the feel of it.
