Six *countries* surely. I thought Victor Katolyk reported that China had also recognized Yanukovich.

Although, I wonder if one could still get away with referring to some of the former Soviet republics as counties of Russia?

Yeah, “counties” did have its own ounce of truth. How about tabulating how many boroughs of NYC have recognized Yanukovich over Yushchenko?
