Draft, draft, then draft again

Marcus at Harry’s Place notes the importance of multiple drafts:

"A frightful hobgoblin stalks throughout Europe. We are haunted by a ghost, the ghost of Communism."

So almost began the English language translation of Marx & Engels’ Communist Manifesto.

also the original translation does seem a bit insane perhaps the end translation was better used as hobgobblins are not as scary as a spectre would be
