This fascinating poster, reminiscent of Soviet propaganda posters, was allegedly seen on a train between Baltimore and Washington DC recently.

It seems that most of the more knowledgeable bloggers and sites that linked to this story have generally agreed this artwork is based on the ‘art-deco’ form, prevalent not in just Soviet Russia in the 1930s, but also in the US, UK, France and Germany throughout that era.
