Russian Police Discover Teenage Girl Brought up by Dogs:

Kazan police have discovered another “Mowgli” child — a girl neglected by her parents who grew up with a pack of wild dogs, Regnum reported Wednesday. The girl is being escorted to Moscow.

Ramzia Tukmatullina, 14, whose mother is an alcoholic, has lived with the wild dogs since childhood. The countryside neighbors who watched her grow nicknamed the girl Naida, a typical Russian name for a dog.

After a local policeman reported the girl’s case to the administration centre, she was invited to Moscow to take part in a popular TV talk show.

On a talk show?  So, um, these dogs spoke pretty good Russian then?

Mowgli children…

When I read the story, I kept thinking that the kids must hang out with the dogs or cats. Raised by them? I have my doubts. No dog I’ve ever had was much of a provider…

I’ve got 20 Hryvna that says that the talk show referenced is the Russian Jerry Springer/Michael Bey ripoff “Okno”
