The BBC will be interviewing Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko later this month, for their show Talking Point. A part of the interview (perhaps all of the interview?) will consist of questions from members of the public. You can put forward your question at the BBC News website.

I wrote my question to BBC, but I don’t know if they’ll use. I think it’s important. Maybe someone can else submit a similar question on this topic. I know it’s turned a lot of Ukrainians off to Mr. Yushchenko.
Recently, the Rada, the Ukrainian parliament, passed a bill, which Yushchenko signed. This is bill gives governmental officials in Kyiv and other cities FREEDOM FROM PROSECUTION. This means a governmental official can do just about anything while in office and not be punished. In the light of the Orange Revolution, which was as much against corruption as it was for honest democracy, how can the legitimacy of this bill be explained?
I think a lot of Ukrainians would like to know the answer to this question also.
Thank you.
