Things have been pretty hectic the last few weeks, mainly because I’ve just started a new job, and I’ve found that I really don’t have the time or energy at the moment to blog. Even worse, I feel that what I’m writing is becoming a bit stale.
So, it’s time to take a short break from the blogging, and recharge the batteries. For ther rest of this month, unless we see another Russian revolution, I won’t be updating siberianlight.net.
Hopefully, I’ll be back in December. Until then, there are plenty of great Russian blogs listed on the sidebar.

This is very bad news, but understandable. I hope you feel the need to return to blogging sooner than December. Your site and commentary is such a great resource. And a source of much inspiration . . .

I know the feeling. Sometimes I take several weeks off at a time. Although I don’t think your blogging has been stale, you should definitely take time off to recharge your blogging batteries if you are feeling worn out. I look forward to your postings soon.

Hi there,
I really like your site and am thinking about doing a sort of world wide blog, with individuals submitting information from their areas. Would you be interested in posting to another site, relevant news?
My idea is that covering relevant articles from all over the world is just too big for any one person. Blogging overwhelms the blogger many times and they drop out. If we had a network of like-minded people, it might be possible to create something significant. What do you think?

i really know the feeling. i hope you come back strong, i really do. but i’ll more than understand i this little hiatus ends up longer than planned. sometimes life comes first.

You better start back up because I nominated you for best Europe blog in the awards Wizbang! runs every year. Granted, I tried to justify my nomination in that category, but I’ll just have to do with the Asia one.
OTOH, if you took a long enough hiatus, I’d be a damned lock for the AFOE award this year.
