I thus feel the need to add a bit more to my earlier comment about the fluffy topic of Russia’s recent celebrity divorce scandal.
I beg to differ. In fact, I think Lyndon is forcefully making the point that the Russian fascination with celebrity gossip mirrors the situation in Britain and American so closely that Russia is now clearly among the first tier of democratic capitalist wonder-states.
