After a brief appearance at Siberian Light, the Euroblog roundup has returned to its spiritual home at Europhobia for its fourth outing.
Stories of interest to Russia / former Soviet Union watchers this week include:
- The British government meddling in Armenian politics (and part 2)
- More stuff on the current Estonian crisis
- And a post of mine about energy politics, the EU and Russia.

A good series of photos on the riots in Estonia.

Notice the statue at the beginning of the photo (old location) and then the last photo of the statue at the new location. Even if we didn’t like the fact that the statue was moved, we have to admit that the move was well done and that the riots were unjustified. And who needs “patriots” like that? Is stealing liquor and looting an Armani store (among many others) a good show of Russian patriotism?

Of course. It was the nicest, most sensitive and tasteful desecration of a war grave we’ve seen in years.
