Russia blog reviews

Posted on 30 November 2007 by Andy

If you’re looking for reviews of Russia blogs, then look no further than BlogWatch.

I’m happy to say that Siberian Light was one of the blogs they reviewed recently, although SL only received 3 stars, out of a possible 5.

I shall clearly have to work harder…!

You did quite well when considering how that review rated the other mentioned venues. The referenced review left out a good number of English language blogs dealing with the former USSR.

With all due respect to Wilhelm, I can’t quite agree with his blog being tied with yours. Since August, Wilhelm’s blog hasn’t been active. IMO, an accurate blog rating system takes into account the number, frequency and diversity (of subject matter) of quality blog posts. I hope all is well with Wilhelm. Along with some others, the two of us had what I thought was a very good discussion at Siberian Light:

Among English language blogs covering the former USSR, Siberian Light is an unquestioned leader when it comes to frequently covering a diverse range of former USSR topics, with a very open attitude to different views.

    Correction:

    In that review, Wilhelm’s blog received a 4 to SL’s 3.

I can’t agree with that for the previously expressed reasons.

Pardon misspelling of Vilhelm’s first name.

For what it’s worth, you get five stars from us. Keep up the great work…
