Former Russian Culture Minister Sues Successor for One Ruble:
Earlier Shvydkoi said he planned to sue Sokolov for moral damages after the minister allegedly slandered him. The former minister filed the suit after Alexander Sokolov accused his agency of corruption.
On Wednesday, Shvydkoi’s lawyer said his client demanded compensation of just one ruble from Sokolov.
I guess corruption is so widespread in the Russian government these days, that it just doesn’t have the same level of social stigma attached to it…
