Bush showing Putin how the US missile shield would work

That’s great. In regard to said missile system, Bush said this: “My message will be, Vladimir — I call him Vladimir — that you shouldn’t fear a missile defense system.”

I like the “I call him Vladimir” part. I’m sure Putin will find comfort in Bush’s down home Texan-style personal address. I’m wonder if Putin will reply, “Well those missiles are kinda pointed in my direction, George.”
